Someone is coming back to Mystic Falls this season on "The Vampire Diaries," and they are almost sure to surprise you in some shape or form. (Of course, stop reading now if you want to avoid any sort of potential spoilers.)
A source tells that actor David Anders -- best known for his role as Sark on "Alias" -- will be coming back on the show for the thirteenth episode of the season earlier next year. Not only will he be reprising his role as Elena's father, but he will also apparently have some sort of knowledge as to how to kill Elijah, who we know has been tearing up the univserse in an attempt to get Elena in his possession for Klaus.
Wouldn't it be a kicker of Anders actually turned out somehow to be Klaus? While that seems a bit out of left field, stranger things have happened in regards to this show. It is currently unknown for how long that Anders will apper on the show, but the last time we saw his character he was being told to "beat it" by Stefan, as Elena didn't want him around.
